After going viral, an Internet video soon leads to problems for teenager Audrey and seemingly serves as the \"catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the small town of Lakewood\';;;;;;;;;;;;s troubled past\", high school student Nina and her boyfriend Tyler are brutally murdered which soon rattles Lakewood to a murderer who struck 20 years ago. At the same time, the town\';;;;;;;;;;;;s sheriff is joined by the medical examiner, Emma\';;;;;;;;;;;;s mom, in investigating the murder, as they fear it may be connected to a dark chapter in the town\';;;;;;;;;;;;s past.
